On December 5–6, 2025, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the liturgical services for the patronal feast of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Washington, DC.

On December 5, His Beatitude celebrated the All-Night Vigil, joined by Archpriest Alessandro Margheritino, Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America; Priest David Bozeman, Secretary of the Orthodox Church in America; and the clergy of the cathedral and Archdiocese. The following morning, December 6, His Beatitude presided at the hierarchical Divine Liturgy.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, His Beatitude offered greetings to all in attendance, reflecting on the humility of St. Nicholas and his enduring example of charity and faithfulness. After the singing of hymns to St. Nicholas, the faithful departed to partake of refreshments following the service.
