Venerable Titus the Soldier, of the Kiev Caves (Commemorated on February 27)

Saint Titus was a courageous warrior renowned for his valor in combat. During one fierce battle, he suffered a grave injury. A sickness that developed from this wound compelled him to withdraw from military duty, after which he joined the Kiev Caves Monastery. There, he devoted the remainder of his life to prayer and repentance, ultimately attaining the Kingdom of Heaven.
Troparion — Tone 8
By a flood of tears you made the desert fertile, / and your longing for God brought forth fruits in abundance. / By the radiance of miracles you illumined the whole universe! / O our holy father Titus, pray to Christ our God to save our souls!
